You have just virtually landed on one of the most beautiful spots in France. Le Maine Menot is located on the border of the Charente and the Dordogne. For this reason you can enjoy the best that both regions have to offer you. In the Charente there are the St Emilion, Cognac and Pomerol, whereas the Dordogne serves the Perigord cuisine. Famous places like Bordeaux, Sarlat and Bergerac are not far away.
Originally, Le Maine Menot is an old wine barn (ancienne chais), entirely renovated in style and luxury into a splendid holiday home for large groups or families that want to spend their holiday together. Off-season, Le Maine Menot is mainly used for smaller groups and as a conference center. From the terrace you have a fabulous view of the Dordogne and the house offers you every conceivable form of luxury and comfort. Le Maine Menot is suitable for 2 persons, 4 persons, 6 persons, 8 persons, 10 persons, 12 persons, 14 persons, 16 persons and 18 persons. Of course the odd numbers are not a problem either.
Our holiday home offers 11 luxuriously bedrooms, as well as 5 toilets, 5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms , ± 500 m2 paved terrace, private swimming pool and sauna, a beautiful playing field, fitness facilities and grounds of 6,000 m2.

There are 11fully decorated bedrooms, altogether sleeping 18 people (all rooms have central heating).
The bedrooms have hotel boxspring beds with duvet covers and pillows. There is a chair and a table and possibilities to hang your clothes.
There are 5 bathrooms, 4with a shower and 1with a bath. All bathrooms are fully tiled and d have excellent sanitary fittings. There is a fully equipped luxury kitchen, several refrigerators and freezers, ovens and two dishwashers. Preparing your meals on the big stove with 6 burners is a delight.
Le Maine Menot has its own private swimming pool. It can be heated on request. For this, an additional charge applies based on the use of electricity.
Le Maine Menot is run ecologically and is connected to a biological sewer system generating 94% purified water. The pond behind the pool forms the water reservoir and is used for watering the garden.
There are three large living areas. Here, you can see the Lou Cantou. The Lou Cantou is a beautiful and very spacious room, with a table and chairs next to the fireplace and a huge dining table which seats 16 people. The sideboard contains all the necessary china and cutlery for large groups.
During your stay, you can use the excellent sauna facilities. There are showers both indoors and outside. The swimming pool and the privacy of the grounds make your sauna bath complete (maximum capacity: 6 people).
+ 500 m2 of paved terrace, a playing field for jeu-de-boules, badminton or other games, a tabletennis table and two outdoor showers.
There is a fitness space withe some equippement. In addition, there is a conference room of 66 m2 which can be used for various purposes.
