Set approximately 5mins walk from the centre of Badia Tedalda where you will find restaurants, bars, a post office, bank with cash machine, mini supermarkets, pharmacy and Tourist Information centre. The house consists of 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms on three levels.
LEVEL ONE has bathroom with shower unit and washing machine, modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and sandwich maker, wooden table and chairs, feature fireplace and original Tuscan stone sink, through lounge with TV, DVD, Stereo, two settees, coffee table and feature stone fireplace.
LEVEL TWO is reached by a granite staircase leading to two bedrooms - one double with wrought iron bed and a single with two wooden beds, wardrobe and drawers. A bathroom with bath and over shower and an airing room.
LEVEL THREE is reached by a metal staircase to two bedrooms. One large double with wrought iron bed, wardrobes, drawers and seating area and a single bedroom with two wooden beds, a chair bed, wardrobes, drawers and there is also a travel cot.
The house is tastefully decorated with lots of pictures and knik-knacks, a patio area with BBQ, outdoor table and chairs for alfresco dining, an 8ftx3ft blow up pool (outdoor tap to connect) and sun loungers.
Badia Tedalda is a small town in the Appennines of Tuscany. It is approximately 60km from the fabulous beaches and nightlife of Rimini and just a little further down the coast is the Aquapark. Nearer to the house is a Lido with swimming pools, bar, restaurant and garden/play area. The medieval town of Arrezo is about 1hr away with wonderful shops and Old Historic Centre. Anghari, approx 45mins, is a beautiful Historic centre with some fabulous restaurants and Sansepolcro is just down the mountain (35mins) with lots of bars, restaurants, shops, a swimming pool, beautiful churches and art galleries, there is also a market every Saturday morning.
Our house is set with views of the mountains and is ideal for hiking, walking, cycling and getting away from it all. Take a picnic and enjoy the fresh air, you may be lucky enough to see Roe Deer or even an Eagle as they, along with numerous other wild life, make their home in the area.
AIRPORTS (approx time) - Rimini - 1hr. Ancona - 1.5hrs. Forli (Bologna) - 1.5hrs. Bologna - 2hrs. Perugia - 2hrs. Pisa - 2.5hrs.
ATTRACTIONS - Cortona, Arrezo, Florence, San Gimigano, Anghari, Bologna, Siena (the Palio in July & August is a must see).
