This is the real Provence, by the sea in a modernised old wine-growers farmhouse, dating from 1870, on the calm and peaceful slopes of the Colle Noir with views to the sea and Toulon harbour.

After 40 years in Britain and Scandinavia, Rosy has returned to her roots near Toulon with her English husband. The rooms have just been refurbished and are furnished and decorated with style and charm with large comfortable beds. Three have sea views, all are air conditioned. The large heated pool is available to guests. Relax in total peace and quiet (no kids, no dogs no noisy scooters). The house and the grounds are completely NON SMOKING.

The sea is about 15 minutes walk away.
John will advise you on visits to local markets, vineyards and restaurants. Toulon, with its Naval Dockyard and famous market, Saint Tropez (65 kms) and the Ile de Porquerolles are ideal for day trips. In the Spring and Autumn the villages of the Haut Var are at their best, with antique fairs, flower, chestnut, truffle and wine festivals. Secure parking. Classic cars welcome. 20 minutes drive from Toulon/Hyeres airport.

We operate on a B&B basis at present, but will consider renting the whole house in 2009.
