This property is in a fantastic location (in fact it was the reason why I bought it!) in the very heart of Brighton, close to the famous Clocktower and all of the central attractions. Whether staying on business, for a romantic weekend or a week long family holiday number this property will not disappoint. The sea front and beach are a mere 5 minute walk away. There is a shopping centre containing many high street stores including Marks and Spencers, Virgin Megastore, Habitat, BHS, Debenhams, HMV and Primark a mere 2 minute walk away and if independent shops are more your thing the famous Brighton Laines are also within a 5 minute walk where you will find everything from artwork to jewellry to trendy boutiques. There is a fantastic range of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk too, everything from full service restaurants with every type of cuisine to those for more of a quick snack such as Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Pret A Manger and Burger King. There are also lots of nice bars and pubs, many with great outdoor areas within 5 minutes of the property. Clocktower Apartments are located on a main road but this particular apartment is at the rear of the building so road noise is very minimal but as this apartment is on the 3rd floor the views over Brightons rooftops and the sea are stunning. There is a lift in the property, but there are still a total of around 10 steps in all. There is no on-site parking at the property due to its very central location. Parking is very close by for a fee. Due to its excellent location to public transport however I would recommend getting the train or coach to Brighton as everything you could want is within easy reach and accessible on foot or by bus.This apartment is brand new and was only built in 2007. The building does have a lift as this property. Free WIFI is available for your use. The property has a spacious open plan lounge/diner and newly fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher, hob and oven, washing machine/tumble dryer and full fridge freezer. There is a wall-mounted 37 inch Plasma TV with freeview in the lounge along with a CD/Radio stereo system and 2 luxurious comfy sofas (1 of which can be made up as a double sofa bed) for relaxing on. There is also a glass dining table with 4 chairs if you would prefer to eat in. The best bit of the lounge is an enormous patio style window which opens like a patio door to reveal a juliette balcony and a stunning view of the Brighton skyline. In the daytime you can see nice views over Brighton rooftops and the sea while in the evening you can enjoy the lights of Brighton with glimpses of the lit up Pavillion. Some board games, DVDs and books are provided should you be unlucky enough to get a wet day of weather. The bathroom has an enormous rain style shower and bath. Towels are provided for your use. There is one double bedroom with ample storage space including double wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 side tables with drawers, alarm clock and LCD TV/DVD player. There is also a cot available for your use, please let us know if you would like use of it and bring along your own bedding for the baby. In order to keep standards high we have a very strict no-smoking policy and unfortunately do not accept pets. There is no on-site parking due to the properties very central location but there is parking within a 5 minute walk at either of 2 NCP Car Parks. North Road or Brighton Theatre are both 24 hour car parks with a maximum daily charge of £15.00. Some car parks offer day passes from £8 per day. Permit free zones include: Roads north of Eastern Road in Kemptown, Marine Parade free bays (half way etween Brighton Pier and the Marina) and Hanover (the area on the hill behind Kemptown) If you need to drive and park in Brighton it may be useful to contact Brighton and Hove Parking Information Centre on 01273 293225 as they have the most up to date information and pricing. Public transport in Brighton is brilliant. Brighton Station is only a 5 minute walk away and there are bus stops serving all areas of Brighton and Hove very close to the property (less than 2 minutes walk) that will take you all over the Brighton and Hove area. There are bus timetables and maps in the property for your information to make getting around even easier.This apartment is very competitively priced between £300-£400 per week depending on the time of year. Shorter durations i.e. weekends or midweek breaks are also available for a discounted price during various times of the year.
