Much of the furniture is antique, dating from the 16th to 19th centuries, and chosen with a fine sense of style and taste. Modern items have been carefully selected too, from the Arraiolos rugs to the brass taps in the bathrooms and kitchens. Set in extensive tranquil gardens, this is one of two cottages for those who value being surrounded by beautiful things. The houses are old and refurbished with an aged feel that adds to their authenticity. Outside the ornamental gardens, the Estate mostly comprises a thriving vineyard.
* Casa do Corça (which means deer) is i9n a secluded part of the estate close to gardens and the pool. Upstairs, there is an open plan lounge and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs, there are two pleasant bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Payment Policy: All rates are in Euros. Reservations are confirmed on payment of a deposit of between 30% and 50%, and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment is by Bank Transfer or Paypal.
Cancellation Policy: For cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival, full refunds will be made (less ˆ30 administrative fee) only if the accommodation is re-let. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival. Travel Insurance is advised.
Rules: The number of persons must be agreed at time of booking (maximum 5). We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice, and without refund, for breach of this condition. |
