Two-storey accommodation for 2 (+1 on safa bed in sitting room), this is one of four cottages belonging to a spectacular 18th Century hunting lodge built by an ancestor of the present owner. The Torrião is a separate wing of the main Lodge. Each unit has its own bathroom, lounge and kitchen facilities, and private patio and entrance, and they share the gardens and pool (maximum 14 people). Prices include breakfast, served in the gorgeous main dining room at the Lodge. There's a lovely secluded 9m x 4.5m swimming pool, and wonderful forested gardens with meandering paths and water features. The whole estate is enclosed by a high wall that gives a lot of privacy, despite the fact that Esteiró is only just across from the beach. The furnishings and style are designed to make you feel at home rather than in the pristine, sterile surroundings of a hotel, and the facilities will enable you to have a great holiday, by the pool or on the beach, or combined with touring around the quaint and historic villages and beautiful landscapes of the Minho region.
