Great for a family of up to 6 people, or a couple wanting a romantic spot away from the crowds. A 2-bedroom cottage with a newly constructed 1-bedroom annex (Casa da Mena) with private pool in one of the highest mountain villages on Serra de Arga, with spectacular views across to Spain. Great to get away from it all but also ideally situated near a motorway for access to the beaches of the 'Costa Verde' and for touring in Minho and the Gerês National Park. An old farm cottage that has been in the family for generations and which was carefully restored from ruins in 2005, using traditional local stone.
The main cottage has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and lounges/dining room, it is nicely furnished and fully equipped. Casa da Mena has 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Outside there's a small private pool, mountain bikes, children's swings, barbecue and a steeply terraced gardens with views across a wide mountain valley. Off season, too, this is a great location: remote, quiet, natural, the perfect place to come to recharge the batteries, and it's fully wquipped and warm and cosy in front of the log fire.

Payment Policy: All Rates are in Euros.
Reservations are confirmed on payment of a deposit of 50%, and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment is by Bank Transfer or Paypal. Special reduced prices are available for couples using only Casa da Mena.
Stated prices are for up to 4 people sharing Casa das Pires. 1 or 2 additional people can be accommodated in Casa da Mena, but the price is always for 2 people.
Cancellation Policy: For cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival, full refunds will be made (less ˆ30 administrative fee) only if the accommodation is re-let. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival. Travel Insurance is advised.
Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
The number of persons must be agreed at time of booking (maximum 6). We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice, and without refund, for breach of this condition. |
